Welcome to KidsCAN!
KidsCAN is a scientific study were we measure the sizes of children, and with those measurements we can create safer products for them to use. For example helmets, seats, toys and anything you can think of that your child uses everyday.

The study is organised by the TU Delft on behalf of the European Committee for Standardization, and has been approved by the TU Delft Ethics committee.

You can participate in the study by making an appointment for a measurement session by choosing  a time slot below.

For participants joining from the Sarphati Cohort, you can decide to share your child's measurements with Sarphati Project.

What to expect from this measurement session?
As a participant, your baby will help improve the safety of products for children!

All the measurements are done by the hand of our trained team of anthropometrists from the TU Delft.

The measurements will happen in a relaxed atmosphere and include frequent breaks.

The anthropometrist will measure the proportions of the body, head, hand and foot by using anthropometric instruments.

Before the measurement session we will ask for Informed Consent from you as a parent. We will provide you with the form when you register.

For more detailed information about the measurement session check out our information booklets:
